SM Unite Bronx Award

This year, Somo Monarks has partnered up with 5 other Bronx businesses; State Farm (My Bronx Agent), Belle Cheveux Studios, Empanology, and Mott Haven Bar and Grill and Bronx State farm Agent Juan Rosario to give financial support to two Bronx senior student athletes who have demonstrated academic potential and leadership in their school, community, or family. Winners will be announced at half time during a special event at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn on Saturday February 23, 2019.

Amount: $1200 (2 x $600 Awards)

Application deadline: Friday February 1, 2019 @ midnight

Requirements:

Must attend a Bronx High School

Student must be a senior graduating during the 2018-19 school year.

Student-Athlete

85+ Cumulative GPA

Must have completed at least 10 community service hours during senior year.
